It was and still is I think, one of the great attractions in London. I went there a couple of weeks ago and I didn’t like much like I used too. They have transformed it all around: the old stalls with bric-a-brac and second-hand old stuff (so called vintage) are gone and replaced by new architecture with restaurants and cafes. Nothing wrong with it but I miss the old days.

His subjects were mainly abstract figures and portraits of friends, that he painted with bold and creative brush-strokes often in triptychs. He also focused his interest in other themes like the crucifixion or Papal figures.
