Francis Bacon
I greatly admire Francis Bacon artwork and enjoyed reading the books about his own turbulent private life or not so private as we know! I was and still am inspired by his talent as an artist.
Francis Bacon was an Irish-born British expressionist painter. His subjects were mainly abstract figures and portraits of friends, that he painted with bold and creative brush-strokes often in triptychs. He also focused his interest in other themes like the crucifixion or Papal figures.
